.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...A stationary front over the
S waters tonight will lift N as a warm front tonight into Fri
and dissipate. High pressure passing NE and E of the area will
maintain a weakening high pressure ridge across the N portion Fri
into Sat. Meanwhile, a tropical depression is likely to form
across the Mid-Atlantic offshore waters during the next day or
so. This possible tropical cyclone will track N and NE across the
Mid-Atlantic offshore waters tonight through Fri night, pass
just S and SE of Georges Bank Sat and Sat night, then move E of
the region Sat night into Sun. Mariners should closely monitor
the latest information from the National Hurricane Center
regarding the formation chances of this system. High pressure
will slowly build SE over the area Sun and Sun night, then
persist across the areas through Tue night.
