  National Marine Sanctuary...
  Massachusetts Bay and Ipswich Bay...
  Ocean Waters from the Merrimack River to Plymouth from 40 to 60 NM 
  offshore...

At 318 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were
located along a line extending from near Thatcher Island to 6 nm
southeast of Marblehead Neck to Nahant, moving east at 20 knots.

Locations impacted include...
Eastern Point Ma, Boston Harbor, Boston Buoy 44013, The Coastal
Waters East Of Cape Ann, Mass Bay Buoy 44029, Stellwagen Bank,
Thatcher Island, Broad Sound, and The Coastal Waters East Of Boston
Harbor.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Expect gusty winds to around 30 knots...briefly rough seas and
lightning strikes. Consider heading for safe harbor until these
storms pass.

Frequent lightning is occurring with these storms. If caught on the
open water stay below deck if possible and keep away from ungrounded
metal objects.
