New England continental shelf and slope waters from 25 nm
offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...Low pressure off the New
Jersey coast will move slowly S across the Mid-Atlantic offshore
waters today through Wed night while pulling a cold front S over
these areas. Strong high pressure will slowly build S over the
area today through Tue night, and persist across the Gulf of
Maine Wed through Sat night. Another low pressure area may
develop S and SE of Georges Bank Fri night, and remain S of the
region through Sat night.
