New England continental shelf and slope waters from 60 nm
offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...A cold front approaches the
waters from the NW today and moves into the area by tonight. Weak
low pressure moves E along the front, with the front weakening
overnight and early Fri. Weak high pressure builds N into the
area Fri, continuing Fri night with a surface trough along or
near the coast. The high moves E Sat, with a warm front then
moving N into the area and passing N of the waters Sat night. A
cold front moves into the area Sun, moving E and S of the waters
Sun night. Weak high pressure returns for Mon, then the front to
the S returns N as a warm front Mon night. The warm front moves N
of the area Tue, then another cold front approaches from the W
Tue night.
