offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.
Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.
Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...A low pressure center will
move SE over the waters today, then pass E of the area by early
tonight. A weak low pressure trough will move offshore Tue, then
dissipate late Tue night or early Wed. High pressure will build
across the area Wed into Thu, then shift S and SE Thu night. A
broad low will develop well S of the area Tue, drift S through
Wed, then slowly approach from the S Wed night into Thu. The low
will turn and move more NE by Thu night, remaining S and then E
of the area Fri as it moves into the N Atlantic. Another cold
front or low pressure trough will approach the coast Fri, then
move offshore Fri night.
