offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.
Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.
Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...A series of low pressure
troughs will move across the area today through Tue. A series of
low pressures will develop just SE of the waters today, then lift
E to NE out into the N Atlantic tonight and Tue. High pressure
will build E over the waters later Tue into Wed, then will shift
E and SE by Wed night as a strong low pressure moves SE toward
the area from the Great Lakes. The broad low will pass along or
just N of coastal Maine Thu, then lift NE into the Gulf of Saint
Lawrence and SE Canada Thu night into Fri night. The low will
pull a strong cold front through the waters late Wed night into
Thu, followed by a series of low pressure troughs or secondary
cold fronts Thu night through Fri night.
